 In the summer of 2025, Cynthia decided that she needed a hobby that tapped into her creativity and improved her mental health. She loves nature and, in particular, seashells. These gifts from nature became the canvas for her passion for creating art. In the fall, she participated in three very successful local craft fairs and decided to take the plunge into business. Cynthia is excited about creating custom designs for weddings, special events, & portraits on shells.  We hope you can join us at the Coastal Arts Market to see Cynthia's artwork in person.

Leonardtown Wharf Coastal Arts Market Reopens on April 11th.

It's that time of year when we have all had enough of winter, and we are looking forward to spring. The crafters have taken their winter break, and now it's time to get back to creating and making new things for the 2026 craft events. The Coastal Arts Market is going to reopen for their thirteenth season. We have some new creative folks joining us this year that we are excited about, and we always look forward to seeing what Pat and Cathy from Naked Cuts will have, as well as Nutt House Wine & Wood Barrel Co., Wendy & Bryan always bring something new to the market. Nancy from Timeless Threadcraft has been busy with winter, coming up with new designs. Candy from Wonderland Leather Craft is always coming up with fabulous handbags, and her colorful wallets make great gifts.   The Coastal Arts Market reopens for our 10th season on April 20th, our hours are from 9:00 to 3:00  All of our crafters have been working through the winter months making new things that you are sure to love, and each crafter works at their craft to bring you unique, quality products. Not something from a mold or a kit.
