The Shedshop Studio ~ Tad & Julie Burch Tad Burch, an avid outdoorsman, has made the jump from plumbing to jewelry. Once his kids grew up, he decided to explore new passions and turned the Shed Shop Studio into a reality. Starting in his cellar, he explored making deer antlers, aka “sheds”, found while walking through the woods or fields, into rings. Now in his newly built shop, he has expanded his materials to include wood and resin. He crafts each ring into a beautiful piece of artwork that he and his wife, Julie, take pride in wearing. They hope to craft a unique experience for everyone who wears their rings.

In 1998, I embarked on the art and craft show market and the rest is history! I use hard and soft wood (i.e. walnut, mahogany, cherry, pine, beech, holly, ash – to name a few) and exotic wood from Africa and South America. Some pictures have over 300 pieces. Each piece is car...

The Coastal Arts Market is located at the beautiful Leonardtown Wharf Park 22500 Washington Street, Leonardtown, Maryland 20650 Local artisans come together one Saturday a month starting in April through June and again in September through November to sell their hand-crafted items at this open-air market. All items sold must be handcrafted by the seller. This allows you the customer to meet the artist or maker and will enable you to find out about the process that's used in making the items and you can place custom orders for goods. This helps these artists and crafters to build a small cottage business that they can build on and expand in the future. Remember shopping locally keeps your money in your community where it can do the most good. Buying American-made products is always a good thing. Watch the video and check the dates below. ...
